- To strengthen the system of physical development, social and economic development in urban and rural areas to improve the standard of living in accordance with the state goals

- To formulate and implement the methods, policies, plans and guidelines for planning and ensuring the effective implementation by all institutions in the planning level
- To ensure town planning services and quality information system for the needs of long-term planning
